Before booking your trial class at Dom City, here are a few things you might like to know. Our FAQ covers everything from what to expect during your first workout to what to bring. We welcome all fitness levels, so whether you're just starting out or you're a seasoned athlete, we've got you covered. Still have questions? During our Functional CrossFit classes we don’t use barbells and you won’t find any very technical movements in our programming. This means there is more time to move. In our Classic CrossFit you can expect more technique drills and working towards advanced movements, like handstand walk and muscle ups.

The structure of the class is very similar, with a warm-up, strength part and a sweaty workout. With both trial classes you get a good understanding of Dom City as a box and community.

Yes! CrossFit is the program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can always start CrossFit. As you become fitter and faster, you can alter workouts so that they will become even more challenging! Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness and move you toward your goals.

Yes. CrossFit training is very safe. We believe that sitting on your couch a lot is actually more dangerous. At Dom City, certified trainers provide precise instructions and individual coaching to help members move safely and efficiently. Our coaches have the skill to help every member. We have a scaling option for all levels and no injury should hold you back from training completely. Moving around is in a lot of cases the way to being healthy again.

You’ll find all our memberships here. We have a membership that allows you to join all the types of programs we offer and a Functional Only membership. All our membership are based on a 4 week contract, so no long term contracts!

Yes, you can! You are welcome to join all our classes. If you check our Class schedule and send us an email, we can book you a spot. Please note, our coaches don’t have a lot of time to answer questions after the class, but we can help you by email or Whatsapp.

You will only know when you try it out ;-). Yes. Everyone can do CrossFit regardless of age, injuries and current fitness levels. The program is modified for each person to help him or her safely become healthier and fitter. Do we see you soon?

It depends on your goals. For beginners, we advice to start with 2 times per week. Your body needs to get used to the movements and intensity first. Also it takes time (about 3 months) to build a new habit. When you want to master all the CrossFit movements, most members upgrade their membership to at least 3 times per week. All the memberships at Dom City are based on a 4-week contract, so you can easily upgrade or downgrade.
